The Beehive in Montpellier proved to be an
excellent venue choice for the CLC Striders 1st Year Anniversary and Awards
Dinner last weekend with excellent food and service. Around 45 Striders attended

fantastic success in 2008/2009. Our Newsletter Editor Louise Allsop won the

In addition to the award

Tom Boyd, Dave Smeath, Lisa Boyd who have brought their time and skills
supporting the Club in it's first year, he then added a very big thank you to
the CLC Sports Centre which also gives great support to the club. Finally, Chris
Hale presented a special thank you gift from the Striders to Brendan for his
commitment, time and enthusiasm in making the Club a great success. Afterwards

vest!
Only founded in 2008 the CLC Striders Running Club grows stronger
each month attracting many new members. The Striders have been well represented
in many local & national races during the last 12 months and has a great
atmosphere at training on Monday's and Wednesday's. The Club has seen a number
of fun night's out recently but the Awards Dinner was definitely a highlight in
the Clubs Social Calendar and will be an annual event.
Please email Phil with your photo's of the evening, so he can add them to this page.
